NS Equipment (Egans Equipment P/L t/as) commenced operation in 2004 under the Directorship of Owen Egan. In 2003, Owen returned from working overseas to start a new business building and manufacturing water trucks, crane trucks & tip trucks, specialising in meeting clients individual site needs.
Owen had earthmoving running through his veins. He began his career as a Crane Operator in 1988 under apprenticeship to his father’s company Egans Contractors Australia Pty Ltd, a very successful earthmoving contractor for over 50 years.

From planning & design all the way through to delivery, our services is what makes us boutique yet a leader in the game.
SERVICE & MAINTENANCE OF TANKERS
Once the water truck has been working on site, we offer a repair and maintenance service. We can collect your truck from site and provide a turnaround time that is fast and often after hours so you are back on the job working as quickly as possible.
REFURBISHMENT OF EXISTING TANKS
Should you have a tank that is perhaps starting see better days, or been involved in an accident, we offer a full or part refurbishment service. We’ve had experience dealing the insurance companies and can work within a budget.

All vehicles sold meet VICRoads RWC & registration compliance with engineer certificates for any & all alterations made including load limits. Vehicles are sold with Risk Assessments & VASS Certificates and are fitted standard with many safety devices including rotating beacons, emergency stop buttons, handbrake door alarm, battery starter isolator, UHF radio, reverse camera, fire extinguisher, tool box, wheel chocks & first aid kit.

Whether it’s mounting a water tank fitted with sprays, canons, toolboxes etc. to an existing truck or a brand new truck, we aim to provide services that are on time, with fittings and fixtures that are of a superior quality. We use the best of parts on the market that are proven and can be sourced locally.
When repairs or replacement of worn or faulty parts, the client is kept well informed with a quote following investigation works and written authorisation with a purchase order reference required before works proceed. We are committed to continual improvement of our quality system. We work with regular subcontractors who are professional and qualified in their field and who also deliver a high level of service and warrant their own work.
